Vero Scribe offers a simplified plan plan — Pro — with two billing options:

Both options give you full, unlimited access to every Vero Scribe feature — templates, Vero Chat, Vero Evidence, Insights, ICD codes, snippets, multilingual support, and more. No features are locked behind a higher tier.

Free Tier & Trial
When you first sign up, you get two ways to explore Vero Scribe before committing:
7-Day Free Trial
Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial of the full Pro experience — unlimited notes, all features, no credit card required. This is your chance to use Vero in real clinical sessions and see how it fits your workflow.
Free Tier (after trial ends)
Once your trial expires, your account moves to the free tier — you can still create up to 10 notes per month at no cost. Your existing notes, templates, and settings are all preserved. When you're ready for unlimited access, you can upgrade to Pro at any time.
You can track how many notes you've used this month in Settings → Account, under the Usage section. Free tier users will see a progress bar showing notes used out of 10.
Upgrading to Pro
Ready to go unlimited? Here's how to upgrade:
Open Vero Scribe and go to Settings (click your profile icon in the app).
In the Account tab, find the plan section — you'll see a message that says "You are not currently subscribed to any plan."
Click the "Upgrade to Pro" button.
A pricing window will open. Choose your billing preference using the Monthly or Yearly tabs at the top.
Click "Get Pro Monthly" or "Get Pro Yearly".
You'll be taken to a secure checkout page (powered by Stripe) to enter your payment details. Promotion codes are accepted here if you have one.
Once payment is confirmed, you're on Pro — unlimited notes, effective immediately.
All payments are securely processed through Stripe. Vero never stores your card details directly.
Managing Your Subscription
Once you're on Pro, you can manage every aspect of your subscription from within the app:
Go to Settings → Account.
You'll see the message "You are currently on the Pro plan."
Click "Manage Plan".
This opens your billing portal, where you can make any of the changes below.
What you can do | Details |
Switch billing interval | Change between monthly ($89/mo) and yearly ($69/mo). The switch takes effect on your next billing cycle. |
Update payment method | Add a new credit card, update an existing one, or set a different default payment method. |
View & download invoices | Browse your complete billing history. Download PDF invoices for each charge — useful for reimbursement, tax records, or employer claims. |
Cancel subscription | Cancel anytime with no penalties. You'll keep full Pro access until the end of your current billing period. |
Using the mobile app? Subscription changes must be made from the web version of Vero Scribe. The mobile app will show a message letting you know.
Checking Your Usage
You can see how many notes you've created this month at any time:
Go to Settings → Account.
Scroll to the Usage section.
You'll see your current billing period (e.g., Mar 1, 2026 – Mar 31, 2026) and a count of notes created.
Plan | What you'll see |
Free tier | A progress bar showing notes used out of 10, with remaining notes and percentage. The bar turns red when you're close to your limit. |
Pro / Trial | Your note count with an ∞ symbol — unlimited notes available. |
What Happens If I Cancel or My Trial Ends?
Here's how your account transitions between states:
Scenario | What happens |
Trial expires | You move to the free tier (10 notes/month). All your notes, templates, and settings are preserved. Upgrade to Pro whenever you're ready. |
Cancel Pro | You keep full Pro access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account moves to the free tier. You can resubscribe at any time. |
Payment fails | Your subscription status moves to past due. Update your payment method in Settings → Account → Manage Plan to restore full access. |
Your data is always safe. Cancelling or downgrading never deletes your notes, templates, or patient records. Everything stays in your account.
Common Questions
When am I billed?
Monthly plans are billed on the same date each month. Annual plans are billed once per year on the date you subscribed.
Do I need a credit card for the free trial?
No. Your 7-day trial starts automatically when you create an account — no payment information needed.
I have a promotion code. Where do I enter it?
Enter your promotion code during checkout. When you click "Get Pro Monthly" or "Get Pro Yearly", the Stripe checkout page has a field for promotion codes.
Can my clinic or organization pay for multiple users?
Yes — if you're looking to set up Vero Scribe for a team, email us at [email protected] and we'll help get everyone set up.
I'm an enterprise user. Can I manage my own plan?
Enterprise subscriptions are managed by your organization's administrator. The "Manage Plan" button is disabled for enterprise accounts.
