What the Pop Up Window does
The Pop Up Window is Vero's picture-in-picture editor: a small floating encounter window that can stay visible while you record and work outside the main Vero tab. It keeps your encounter tools close by without switching back and forth.
Supported browsers
Use a current desktop browser that supports Vero's picture-in-picture editor, such as Chrome or Edge. Availability depends on the browser version, permissions, and device policy. If the feature is unavailable, continue in the main encounter page.

Turn the floating editor on or off
Open Settings → Picture-in-picture.
Turn on Picture-in-picture editor.
In the browser's site controls beside the address bar, set Automatic picture-in-picture to Allow if that option is available.
The setting is off by default for new accounts. If you have used it before, check your saved setting. Turn the same switch off whenever you prefer to keep the editor in the main page.
How the window opens and closes
Open it while recording
Open an encounter and start recording.
Switch away from the Vero tab, minimize the browser, or work in another app.
With the setting enabled and browser support and permissions available, Vero can open the floating editor. Some browsers also require a recent interaction with the Vero page. If it does not appear, use the troubleshooting steps below.
Return to the main encounter
Return to the Vero tab, or use the arrow in the floating window. The floating window closes and the editor returns to the main page.
Select Create to continue note generation in the main encounter.
Select the window's X to close the floating window.
Your typed context, uploaded files, and recording state stay connected to the encounter. Returning to Vero does not create a separate encounter.
Use the floating editor
Type or paste encounter context.
Upload or drag in supported documents, images, and audio files.
View audio activity and pause or resume recording.
Choose a template and create the note when you are ready.

Troubleshooting
The floating window does not open
Confirm recording is active and Settings → Picture-in-picture → Picture-in-picture editor is on.
Check the browser's Automatic picture-in-picture permission if that option is available.
Return to Vero, click inside the page, then switch away again. A recent page interaction may be needed.
Check that your browser is current. If your organization manages it, ask whether picture-in-picture permissions are restricted.
If it still does not open, continue recording in the main encounter and ask Support to investigate. Share your browser/version and what happened when you switched away. Do not refresh or close Vero while recording or saving is unfinished.
Frequently asked questions
Why did the floating window close when I returned to Vero?
That is expected. Vero moves the editor back to the main encounter when you return to the Vero tab.
What if I cannot find the browser permission?
The permission may not be available in every browser or may be managed by your organization. Continue in the main encounter page and share your browser/version with Support if you need help.
