Mobile App

Download Vero for iOS or Android, record visits on the go, and pick up where you left off on the web.

Vero on your phone

Vero is available on iOS and Android in addition to the web. The mobile app is built for recording visits, reviewing notes, asking questions, and continuing work across devices.

A common workflow:

  • Record on your phone during the visit.

  • Pick a template and let Vero generate the note.

  • Finish on your computer when you want a larger screen, keyboard, or EMR workflow.

Your encounters, notes, patients, templates, and chats sync across devices when you sign in with the same account.

Get started

Operating system compatibility

Check the App Store or Google Play listing for the current device and operating-system requirements before installing. Keep Vero and your operating system updated to a supported version.

Downloading the app

Once installed, sign in with the same Vero account and sign-in method you use on the web.

Opening the sidebar

Tap the sidebar icon in the top-left corner to open navigation. You can also swipe inward from the very left edge of the screen.

What you can do in the mobile app

  • Record encounters using your phone's microphone.

  • Generate notes using your templates.

  • View and edit notes across devices.

  • Use Vero Chat and Evidence for questions and documentation support.

  • Browse patients and attach encounters to patient profiles.

  • Use templates and snippets you have already created.

  • Export or copy notes into your downstream workflow.

Record on your phone

Microphone permissions

Recording requires microphone access. The first time you hit Record, your phone asks for permission. Tap Allow.

If access was denied, open your device settings, find Vero, enable Microphone, and restart the app.

Platform

Behavior while recording

iOS

Recording can continue while the app is minimized or the phone is locked.

Android

Recording can continue while the app is minimized or the phone is locked.

If Vero shows a microphone warning, use Reconnect or Change microphone when offered, then check that the waveform and transcript respond again. A running timer alone does not confirm that sound is being captured. See Microphone & Browser Issues for the warning-specific steps.

Work across devices

Use the same account on every device and let the current recording and transcription finish before continuing elsewhere. Your saved workspace syncs when the device has internet access.

What works better on the web

  • Building or editing complex templates.

  • PDF Forms editing.

  • Long-form note edits and EMR copy/paste workflows.

  • Telehealth Mode using browser tab audio.

  • Detailed team administration and longer settings workflows.

Upgrade or manage your plan

  1. Open Settings → Billing & Usage in Vero.

  2. Use the upgrade controls to choose a plan, or Manage Plan for an existing self-serve subscription.

  3. Complete the Stripe steps in the browser view, then return to Vero.

On iOS, Stripe opens in a browser sheet over the app. On Android, checkout or the billing portal may open in a separate browser tab. You can also use the web version of Vero if you prefer.

If a team manages your access, your billing owner or Vero Support may need to manage the subscription. See Plans & Billing.

Troubleshooting

Do not clear app or account data while troubleshooting a missing or unsynced encounter.

If an encounter does not appear on another device

  1. Confirm both devices are signed in to the same Vero account.

  2. Reconnect to the internet, reopen Vero, and use Search to look by title, patient, or date.

  3. Check Settings → Archived on the web.

  4. If it is still missing, contact Vero Support with the approximate encounter date and time, device, app version, and account email.

Frequently asked questions

Is the mobile app free?

  • The app is free to download. Access is tied to your Vero account and plan.

Do I need to sync manually?

  • No. Data syncs when the device has internet access.

How does checkout work in the app?

You can start an upgrade from Vero. Stripe opens in a browser view rather than as an App Store or Play Store purchase. Complete checkout, then return to the app. If the plan has not updated, reopen Billing & Usage and contact Support if the problem continues.
